It’s grocerylists.org, version 4.0!

August 22nd, 2009 |  Published in The GLC

Greetings, dear visitors,

After almost 10 years, I’m in the midst of converting this site from hand-coded HTML and Blogger to WordPress.

A lot of stuff is broken or missing. Everything will be back and available in a few days. There may even be a couple hundred new lists!

Here are a few of the upgrades: 1) You can now upload a list to send it to me via the contact form; 2) Browsing the lists is easier and faster; 3) The blog is now categorized; 4) Overall, the site is more like an actual publication rather than a duct-taped bloggish thing.

You can get to our amazing, legendary, supah-cool main features through these links:

About grocerylists.org

Milk Eggs Vodka: Grocery Lists Lost and FoundThis is the world's largest online collection of found grocery lists. In fact, we wrote the book on found grocery lists. Why? Other peoples' grocery lists are fascinating. Plus, the internet is a great place to do  stupid  interesting things. So far 2,000 funny, crazy, weird, sad and/or mundane discarded scraps of paper have been posted. But it's not all useless stuff -- we also link to useful and interesting articles about food, shopping, lists and more, as well as provide a pretty awesome downloadable PDF grocery list for free. List #2201: If I didn't know any better I'd think this list was made by one of my kids. Specifically, the girl. See more great lists in our collection of Top 10 lists.
