Yes, on Thursday, July 1, 2010, I am going to be on the freakin’ Jimmy Kimmel Live show. Here’s the episode summary from TV.com: “Actress Dakota Fanning; grocery list collector Bill Keaggy; Korn performs.” That’s the ABC network. Check listings for the time in your area.
So. Yeah. Weird. We’ll be talking about other people’s grocery lists — as seen here at grocerylists.org and in the “Milk Eggs Vodka” book. What else is there to say? Watch it! Let me know if I look nervous!

Coincidentally I had just posted about shopping lists, having never heard of you. Later that day when I saw the guest line-up for Jimmy’s show I was thrilled to see your name and description.
I was nervous for you. My impression when you first came out, sat in the famous chair where so many other buts have been, you looked less nervous than I would have. Very smooth. I wish Jimmy hadn’t cut you off when you were telling the anecdote about the serial shoplifter. I have a feeling you were going to say more? I love that even shoplifters need shopping lists.
I’ve been compelled for some thirty years to read these little castaways and am pleased to make your acquaintance :)
P.S. My husband just came back from the grocery store with a found list for me. Ha.
Can I just say this is the best thing i have ever seen! When my Friends mom writes out a list to go shopping We find it and write really bad things she needs to get on it! (i know we are 23 and need to grow up)! I just wonder what you would think if you found one of her’s!!

We have ‘Asda’ over here which is owned by Wal-Mart, so there may be fertile ground…
[There is a book out in the UK about 'found' notes left on cars, doors etc. which is rather amusing too..]
How do I send you lists? I work for a big box retailer as an executive and I pick up lists whenever I see them. It’s become a game for me… makes work fun. Thanks
